Dwaraka–Proactive Economy…

Posted on: March 27, 2011

My trip with family to Gujarat for 7 days has been memorable.. Have been to Dwaraka – the sunset point of India and Somnath – first Jyotirlinga of sub continent. This has been a dream tour from more than 2years for my dad..

> Beyt Dwaraka

> Veeraval – Somnath

> Rajkot Jn

> Ahmedabad

> GandhiNagar

> Mumbai – Kalyan Jn

> Pune

> Surat

> Warangal / SC

I always thought about the growth of Gujarat Economy as proactive with people over there very conscious about everything straight from electing their Chief Minister successively. The Vibrant Economy Show – why its attracting lot of investments from NRI’s and why AP – ITs Show is not competitive enough is clear when I spent about 7 days in Gujarat. Right from Somnath Temple – its light show + cultural heritage to state road transport corporation to its operational cost and excellence to rich wealth. Every moment at Gujarat made me proud of being there. The whole sleepless night I spent at Rajkot railway station really sets a benchmark for our SC Railways. I also admired at the way the Western Railways have minimized the operational cost even the food we purchase on platforms is worth every penny and sometimes less than MRP (specially packed for Railways)…

Coming back to IPE – its time for us to bide farewell to seniors.  alt                  We are past one memorable year at post graduation which means entering into placement / career phase shortly. Alumni meet – 3rd Sunday has seen many distinguished alumni of our college..
