In the ever-competitive world of five-star hotels, top stays are continually upping the ante for luxury-loving guests. Here is the most jaw-dropping, over-the-top experience of mine at ‘One World Hotel, Malaysia’. And I can truly talk about this from personal experience with a stay there for about 2 weeks.

On June 7th, 2016 when I was heading to my first ever business trip to Malaysia. I shortlisted One World Hotel for my stay for 15 days given its proximity to a World Class Utama Mall and IBM Innovation Centre. That proved to be a master stroke.

Worldclass Facilities:

Considered one of the most extravagant hotels in the world,
Malaysia’s One World Hotel goes all out for guests staying in their Executive Suite Rooms. One of the coolest amenities on offer in the suite – also includes a rotating canopy bed and private cinema. LED screens are personalized and programmed with access to all guest services and hotel information, and guests can order the dining from a button on TV remote.

As if that weren’t enough, each suite has a fruit platter every day, personalized greeting card to guests before arrival, customizing bedding and pillows, building bespoke music playlists, personalizing the in-room coffee program, complimentary breakfast, coordinating consultations with in-house salon IGK, setting up personal fittings with stylists, plus a limo and a driver are always on standby.

With an art collection that would put many small museums to shame, this five-star boutique townhouse hotel in Kuala Lumpur is dripping with priceless masterpieces, chandeliers, and a unique roof top garden adding to its jewel of specialities.

City of Entertainment:

The city has many tourism spots, and with a view of World’s largest twin towers i.e. Petronas from the terrace of the hotel what more you ask as you wake up every day! You have a regular shuttle to the Genting Highlands to experience a ropeway 24*7 and gorgeous view of the valley in Kuala Lumpur. En-route to Genting, you can stop by for the blessings of Lord Murugan temple which is also spotted in most of the don movies / south Indian movies.

Departure:

On your last night at the hotel, they’ll arrange a grand customized dinner at the restaurant.

Overall, the entire experience has been extravagant and if you want to get lucky sharing your private time with some of the world’s celebrities like Lionel Messi etc., a visit to One World Hotel is must.

Well!! Even though, I read through many blogs and articles on this sudden and shocking announcement about its New Boss #IndiasPride #PrideofChennai Sundar Pichai [Thank God Its Not April 1st :-P]

This blog caught my attention for some reason.. Here’s celebrating the next billion vision and profoundly the new – Sundar’s Google!

“Finally.”

“Moonshots.”

“Sundar.”

“Speed.”

“Brilliant.”

“YES!”

TechCrunch

Google just rocked the world with some light news on a Monday. It has restructured the company and everything will now report up to “Alphabet Inc.” a new corporate name. That includes Google, which will now be CEO’d by Sundar Pichai (one less Twitter CEO candidate).

Its site? https://abc.xyz/. Strangely enough, Google doesn’t own Alphabet.com (yet?).

The CEO of Alphabet will be Google CEO and co-founder Larry Page. His missive on Google’s blog (headlined G is for Google) explains what the new holding company is:

What is Alphabet? Alphabet is mostly a collection of companies. The largest of which, of course, is Google. This newer Google is a bit slimmed down, with the companies that are pretty far afield of our main Internet products contained in Alphabet instead.

Hiya,

As many people still consider Adam and its species to be a vaporware, some term it as the biggest failure..                                                       Some tweet #RIP Adam1 😦 But many NI fans/stakeholders still anticipate for ADAM2 and eager to see an update from quite sometime.

Somehow this blog post title best suites the frame of my mind I’m in right now and most importantly to my blog.. Stay tuned as I will be back on track..!!

Apr 2nd, 2011 : This day, every Indian has been waiting for Dhoni _ WC 28 years after all, the dream of India becoming Champions in World Cricket has come true. Indians will carry this emotions for decades to come.. Now, everyone has their own perceptions about how Team India became World Champions of Cricket. But my belief on one man “The man – The Machine – The Master Mind –> Midas Singh Dhoni” has made everything for Indian Cricket. Now we are the champions of all formats of cricket which makes cricket more and more dominant in all parts of the country. Whenever I see small kids playing cricket in streets I find the intense passion on this game and one man made it true for this country by lifting the Cup of Pride.. To my admiration many people started accusing Dhoni’s leadership as luck working out at times. If it is the case, why didn’t the same luck work out for Sachin or Ganguly when they lead the team in World Cup earlier. I call Dhoni’s way of leading as the Spirit of Platinum Leadership. For me, it’s a continuous case study. And to all the polls that discussed about who played the best in WC Final against Srilanka, I completely abide by the decision of ICC Match Referee.  For all those, who are unable to digest and hope that India will lift the most coveted cup of cricket.Here are some insights about why its so easy for us. FYI:: http://tinyurl.com/SachinonDhoni ; http://tinyurl.com/KapilonDhoni ; http://tinyurl.com/GangulyonDhoni  ;

Apr 5th / 6th : With the World Cup memories still afresh within, I attended Cognizant Technology Services internship interview. I am offered an opportunity to ‘Be Open, Be Flexible, Be Aware, Be Proactive, Be Collaborative, Be focused, Be Efficient, Innovative and above all Be Cognizant!! Seriously I thank my conscious effort about working with NotionInk earlier and honestly rating gadgets. There was a bit of luck that turned on my side at the end of day. I should thank Vinay Mishra for giving us opportunity and Sridhar Sir + K Ramesh Sir for shaping us efficiently. I am about to board CTSH Chennai on Apr 25th, 2011 and I have to prove to be passionate.. I am done with 2nd Sem exams in parallel.

My trip with family to Gujarat for 7 days has been memorable.. Have been to Dwaraka – the sunset point of India and Somnath – first Jyotirlinga of sub continent. This has been a dream tour from more than 2years for my dad..

> Beyt Dwaraka

> Veeraval – Somnath

> Rajkot Jn

> Ahmedabad

> GandhiNagar

> Mumbai – Kalyan Jn

> Pune

> Surat

> Warangal / SC

I always thought about the growth of Gujarat Economy as proactive with people over there very conscious about everything straight from electing their Chief Minister successively. The Vibrant Economy Show – why its attracting lot of investments from NRI’s and why AP – ITs Show is not competitive enough is clear when I spent about 7 days in Gujarat. Right from Somnath Temple – its light show + cultural heritage to state road transport corporation to its operational cost and excellence to rich wealth. Every moment at Gujarat made me proud of being there. The whole sleepless night I spent at Rajkot railway station really sets a benchmark for our SC Railways. I also admired at the way the Western Railways have minimized the operational cost even the food we purchase on platforms is worth every penny and sometimes less than MRP (specially packed for Railways)…

Coming back to IPE – its time for us to bide farewell to seniors.  alt                  We are past one memorable year at post graduation which means entering into placement / career phase shortly. Alumni meet – 3rd Sunday has seen many distinguished alumni of our college..

Requirements Engineering and Requirements Management — I really liked this post! Just hv a glance ..

Requirements engineering – helps software engineers to better understand the problem they will work to solve.  It encompasses the set of tasks that lead to an understanding of what the business impact of the software will be, what the customer wants, and how end-users will interact with the software.  It establishes a solid base for design and construction.

Key issues:
1. Understanding the requirements of a problem is among the most difficult tasks that face a software engineer.
2. Doesn’t the customer know what is required?
3. Shouldn’t the end-users have a good understanding of the features and functions that will provide benefit?

“I know you think you understand what I said, but what you don’t understand is what I said is not what I mean.”

Requirements Engineering Tasks.. plz continue..

Hmm,
2010 – what does it mean for me??
